Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a stop at Uganda Equator Crossing Kayabwe & traditional lunch at Igongo Cultural Center
Embark on the transfer after breakfast from your place of stay in Kampala to the South West of Uganda 530km about 9 – 10 hours’ drive. You will drive through impressive country side landscapes that are dotted with lush green. You make a stop at Uganda Equator Crossing Kayabwe 77km from Kampala for amazing photo shoots and water experiment that justifies the geographic divide between the north and the southern hemispheres. After this encounter, you will proceed for a lunch stop at Igongo Cultural Center to have a thrill of a traditional African buffet. Proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Do gorilla trekking & transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early heavy breakfast, gather at the respective park headquarters for briefing starting at 8am. The gorilla trekking encounter brings you closer to the world’s critically endangered mountain gorillas thriving in Bwindi and the Virunga Massif only in the entire world. Bwindi Impenetrable National park is endowed with 400 out of 880 mountain gorillas that are currently thriving with in the region which makes it unique an worth encountering on gorilla trekking safaris in Uganda. After a relaxed breakfast, embark in the transfer back to Kampala 437km about 7 – 8 hours’ drive. You make a traditional lunch stop at Igongo Cultural Center before proceeding to Kampala to mark the end of the safari.
